The Van Wettens Nite race was finally run on Thursday 3 February after the postponement due to tremendous rains.
There were 570 participants over the three races. A number of businesses pitted themselves against each other with The Electro Systems "grey" team coming out triumphant! The first team home in the junior section was the under 11 team from Bergland and the Penryn College team took the high school team prize. The main race was hotly contested but nobody could catch Nedbank LVCC's very own Ntutuko Maseko. Noria Sibande also from Nedbank LVCC was the winners in the ladies race. The route was slightly changed from previous years being a pure double lap now which added to the festivities as the top runners ran around the field and out again to complete their second lap. It is still a challenging course!
