Nedbank Running Club Shines Across Multiple Events This Weekend

The Nedbank Running Club had an impressive weekend, securing top positions across various races. From Johannesburg to the Limpopo province, Nedbank Running Club once again showed its depth of talent. Here’s a recap of how the Nedbank Running Club performed across the country this last weekend.

Pirates 21km, taking place in Johannesburg:

 

In challenging conditions with rain falling the entire race, club runners still managed to give top

Performances

 

- Women’s race: Adele Broodryk finished in 4th place with a time of 1:31:33.

- Men’s race: Onalenna Khonkhobe took 4th place in 1:08:57, followed closely by Joel

Mmone in 5th (1:09:37) and Tiiseto Mokhoma in 6th (1:09:58).

Zabalaza Marathon, taking place in KwaZulu-Natal:

- 10km Open: Mziwenkosi Mjaja secured 2nd place with a time of 32:11.

 

CDM 4-in-1 Marathon taking place in Limpopo:

 

- 10km Men: Isaac Moshiwa claimed 2nd place with a time of 32:29.

- 21.1km Men: Philemon Koskey took the top spot in an unofficial time of 1:06:00.

- 21.1km Women: Monique finished in 4th place with a time of 1:36.

- 42.2km Women: Slindile Chili dominated the marathon, finishing 1st in 3:17:00.

- 42.2km Men: Sfiso secured 3rd place, while Hanner claimed 3rd place with a time of

3:36. Julius Kiplagat Korir placed 3rd in the 40+ age category.

 

Sasol Secunda Marathon Races:

 

- 21km Women: Keneilwe Sesing took 1st place in 1:30:00, with Bianca Snell close behind in 2nd place (1:31:59).

- 10km Women: Rika Rossouw finished in 1st place.
