November 7, 2024
More Than A Race – Isiko Mpilo The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) is thrilled to announce that for the first time, entries for the prestigious Green Number Club are now open, effectively a week before the entry process opens up to all other prospective entrants in next year’s 98th Comrades Marathon. The exclusive Green Number Club honours runners who have completed ten or more Comrades Marathons, celebrating their dedication, perseverance, and exceptional achievement in the world’s oldest and biggest ultramarathon.

Eligible runners can enter the race via the official Comrades Marathon website. The application process is straightforward, and the CMA team is available to assist with any queries.

CMA Acting Race & Operations Manager, Alain Dalais says, “We are incredibly proud of our Green Number Club members. Their commitment and passion for the Comrades Marathon inspire us all.”

“As a token of appreciation to all Green Number Club athletes for their many years of loyalty and dedication to The Ultimate Human Race, entries are open ONLY for all Green Number Club runners since 6 November 2024 and will close on 9 December 2024 at 16h30 or as soon as the entry cap is reached.”

Entries for all Non-Green Number Club runners open a week later on 13 November 2024 at 10h00. The total number of entries will be capped at 23,000. The entry period will close on 9 December 2024 at 16h30 or once the entry cap of 23,000 has been reached, whichever comes first.
