Nedbank Running Club Soweto runners participated in the last Cross country league held in Alberton Dam this passing Saturday. Our runners seem to be peaking at the right time of the season. The notable winners were Thato Tsotetsi in 8km juniors boys, his team mates finish 2nd and 3rd being Tshepo Majwafi and Tshwanelo Mojokeng.

 Derocious Makhobalo was victorious in the 12KM men. Most athletes finished in the top 10 in their respective races. We hope our juniors will repeat the feat in Central Gauteng Champs taking place on the 16 August 2014 in Boksburg.

Derocious went to win HFPA OLD Eds 21km yesterday in 1:09. Zongamele Dyubeni(31:41) won the 10KM race and 2nd was Lebogang Khonkhobe(31:54).

Udelle de Winnaar was the 1st lady in the 10km walk in 61:18.
