The Durban Athletic club that is also situated at the Kings park athletic track joined the time trial and a record number of 85 runners attempt the fast 5 kilometre coarse. The time trial was won by Thembelani Malunda in a time of 16:27 with Bruce Fordyce coming in at 19 minutes and 29 sec.

On Sunday the Nedbank Kzn Club competed in one of the favourite races in KZN-the PDAC 25km which starts at Waterfall shopping centre and finishes at Lahee Park in Pinetown!
It was a very well Nedbank Running Club supported race with Shaun Mieklejohn winning his veteran age category!
