Nedbank Running Club Develop Young athletes in George.
September 29, 2011
The Nedbank Running Club George is working closely with the Kretzenshoop Primary School on a weekly basis.
Twice a week the runners are trained under supervision from members of the Nedbank Running Club in George.  We are very thankful to Jonathan Hartnick and Mari Swiegelaar who dedicate their time to train these youngsters.

We’ve entered two teams for the PKF Business relay, a running and a walking team. The running team was first in the first schools category.

They are also involved in development at the following schools, Waboomskraal Primary, Zeekoegat Primary and Franklin Primary.  One of the learners of the Waboomskraal Primary School and part of the development squad, Cathleen Baardman was chosen to represent Athletics SWD at the cross country championships in Bloemfontein.
