  • Pre-Entries : Can be completed at Top Gear Sport. Closing date for pre-entries is Wednesday, 6 September 2023 @ 12h00
  • No Late Entries will be accepted

ASWD Licensed athlete take note : Forget your IPICO chip – you will have to pay R20 to loan one for the race. Lost your chip – you will have to pay R75 for a replacement chip.

Start / Finish : Nelson Mandela University George Campus Rugby Stadium. 21.1km & 10km @ 08h00 / 5km  @ 08h15

Ablution : Toilets will be available , but no shower facilities

Medals : Medals to all  finishers who complete the race within the cut-off time.

Prize giving : @ 11h15. Athletes are responsible to collect their own prize money or make an alternative written arrangement with the Event Organizer. Failing which prize money will be forfeited. (ASA Rule 2.10)

EDEN SPORTS AWARDS  

The Eden Sports Awards took place on 28 July in George.

Wanru Haasbroek won the Primary School Sportsman of the year.

Duné Haasbroek was a finalis (top 3) for the Primary School Sportswoman of the year.

We are SUPER PROUD of Wanru and Duné.
 
ALGOA BIG WALK FOR CANCER 5KM - 28 OCTOBER 2023 

The Nedbank Running Club SWD are proud to host the Alogoa FM Big Walk for Cancer in George.

The Algoa FM Big Walk For Cancer presented by ISUZU Motors South Africa is a legacy event, in its 25th year and remains the biggest charity participation event in the Eastern Cape. This year, the event continues as a hybrid event with physical and virtual walks in support of those affected by Cancer.

Anyone from anywhere in South Africa or the world can join in on the fun. Walk, run or stroll with friends and family wherever you like on Saturday, 28 October.

Share pictures of you and your family, friends and colleagues, on social media from entry to race day and we’ll paint the Internet "pink" in support of those affected by Cancer.
