MEIRINGSPOORT 21.1KM AND 10KM - 13 OCTOBER 2018

FINAL RACE INSTRUCTIONS! 

Club members taking part in the Meiringspoort event on 13 October are reminded to heed the following;

  1. You need to wear the timing chip issued by your club.
  2. There are no "loan chips" available at registration. No Chip, No Time, No Category Prize!!
  3. You need to collect your personalized and color coded race number bibs at registration.
  4. Your race number bibs need to be attached over your ASA licenses in the correct manner as per ASA Rule 26.1.6
  5. You need to wear the correct club colors. NRC Vest and bottle green shorts/tights.
  6.  No 3rd party collections permitted at registration.
  7. Registration on Friday 12 Oct from 11h00 to 21h00 and on Saturday from 04h30 to 05h30 at the Church Grounds in De Rust.
  8. Roads works are being done on the road between Oudtshoorn and De Rust. Participants travelling on this route are requested to add at least 60 minutes to your travelling time. This will allow for the Stop/Go’s and congestion. The last transport leaves De Rust at 05h30. Not negotiable as the race start cannot be delayed. This is a requirement of Provincial Traffic authorities. So please, Plan, Plan, Plan ahead!!
  9. Please support the bazaar and finally, ENJOY YOUR RUN!!

PRIZEGIVING

Takes place at 11H00. Sponsors of the prize money want to be photographed with the category prize winners. If you as a category prize winner cannot afford them this courtesy then you will need to make a suitable arrangement with the event organiser. 

Failing to make this arrangement and not being present will result in a forfeiture of prize money (ASA Rule 2.10). Such monies will then be handed to a charity of the organizers choice.

LUCKY DRAWS

In the finish area, a bin will be provided for you to drop one of your personalised race number bibs in.  Lucky draws will then be drawn from this bin and handed over by you identifying yourself with your remaining personalized race number bib.

Please do not place your race number bib in the bin if you are not attending the prize giving.

Our new tracksuit / jackets and warm-up tops will soon be available at Sportscentre York Street.  Keep an eye on your inbox when it will be available.
