ASA Online Registration and License Numbers

Dear Nedbank Running Club Members

Very Important

License Numbers: You will be disqualified if you don’t have both your license numbers on your running vest, one on the front and one on the back. In races where race numbers will be used, the race numbers should be positioned on the front on top of the ASA License, without covering the logo of the province and ASA sponsor. (See image below)

Registration: Whether you have received your 2017 license number or not, please make sure that you are registered on the ASA Clubs website (See process below) and you also need to complete the ASA License form and hand it to the respective Nedbank Running Club that you joined

With only two months left till race day, will you be joining us to run the 27th edition of the Old Mutual Om Die Dam Marathon and Half Marathon? If not, why not? You don't want to miss this one, so get your entry in today for South Africa's most popular inland ultra-marathon and its shorter distances!

The Old Mutual Om Die Dam Marathon offers mat-to-mat timing on the ultra-marathon, which means that your running time will only start once you cross the starting mat. This means that there is no pressure to be near the front of the start, as no time is lost between the start gun and you crossing the start mat.

Also, because  the race is timed by ChampionChip, all runners doing the ultra will automatically have their times submitted to the Comrades Marathon for seeding purposes. To make sure this process is seamless, please make sure that your ChampionChip is correctly attached to your shoe laces and that your chip is registered with the correct details. If you would like to check all your details, please click the link below.
