The 2017 SA Marathon Championships will take place in February 2017
The date and venue has to be confirmed. Qualifying standards for election to the AGN team are as follows:

40 - 49 02:46:50 03:30:20
50 - 59 03:07:10 03:55:40
60 - 69 03:29:40 04:23:50
The qualifying period is from April 2016 – December 2016.
The preliminary team will be announced in November.
Running a Marathon or longer in January and February 2017 will lead to automatic disqualification.
