Unfortunately due to the heavy rain last week the cross country league which was meant to be held at UKZN on Saturday was cancelled.

On Sunday 31 July we had the TotalSport Ladies 10km race. Nedbank’s Kalmer sisters were in town and claimed 1st and 3rd positions!

Rene Kalmer won the race in 33:28 followed by Tanith Maxwell (Boxer AC) in 2nd in 34:57 and Christine Kalmer claimed 3rd place in 36:38.

Another race a bit further up country was in Raisethorpe, Pietermarizburg. It was the Save Supermarket Orion 21km. This was a very hilly, challenging course!

The Golden Sun 15km and 25km at Tongaat has been cancelled for this weekend Sunday 7 August!!

• Tuesday 9 August is the Women’s Day Ladies 10km held at Chatsworth
Stadium

• KwaMashu 21.1km and 10km Challenge and 5km fun run held at the Princess Magoga Stadium in KwaMashu. Start is at 7am.
